Speaker bio Mr Ram M. Desai is an Environmental Engineer with over 22 years of experience in the field of Water and Wastewater engineering design, installation & commissioning, integrated facility management for environmental services operations in various industries. He is a qualified auditor for IS0 9001, IS0 14001, OHSAS 18001, IS0 14064, IS0 50001, IS0 37001, CORSIA, Water Efficiency, SS564 standards. In his current role as Certification Manager & Local Product Manager for Climate Change Services with Bureau Veritas, Ram has validated and verified more than 150 Clean Development Mechanism, VCS and Gold Standard projects for registration with UNFCC, VCS, GS. He has worked with the corporate sector on carbon accounting and inventorisation using CDP requirements, and verification of carbon accounting against ISO 14064.
Mr.Chang Chia Chien is the Lead for Carbon Management at EcoLabs Centre of Innovation of Energy, which is under Nanyang Technological University Singapore and Enterprise Singapore. He is also currently the Acting Lead of EcoLabs Proposal team which works on company due diligence, proposal writing, market research and other related activities. At EcoLabs, he is mainly involved with proposal and grant call related matters and also actively working on carbon management and sustainability-related projects.
