Keppel Infrastructure provides solutions for some of the world’s most pressing challenges through its power & renewables, environment and new energy businesses by leveraging its proprietary technology, strong technical expertise and proven operating capabilities.

Keppel Infrastructure is committed to reducing the impact of its operations on the environment. It adopts a three-pronged approach to manage water, carbon emission, and waste. Water resource management by ensuring water sufficiency and maximising water recycling through advanced treatment systems and technologies. Carbon emission management by leveraging technology and digitisation to improve energy efficiency and carbon avoidance; complementing existing power generation with carbon-free sources. Waste reduction management by reducing waste sent to landfill through integrated and proprietary waste management systems that maximise recycling and enhance material recovery, thereby promoting a circular economy.

To support its carbon emission reduction ambitions, Keppel Infrastructure has partnered with EcoLabs to set up a joint testbedding program for novel technologies from start-ups and SMEs. EcoLabs will help to identify and deploy at Keppel Infrastructure sites TRL6+ innovative solutions in the areas of renewable energy, energy storage solutions, energy efficiency, electro mobility and green hydrogen.

EcoLabs and Keppel Infrastructure will support innovators with covering testbedding costs and based on the outcomes, Keppel Infrastructure may decide to work with solution providers on a commercial basis or to invest into companies directly.
