Rohit Girdhar holds a Bachelors degree from BITS PIlani, a Masters degree from Stanford University, being the only recipient from India of Stanford’s Graduate Engineering Fellowship, as well as an MBA from INSEAD. He started his professional career at Teradyne Inc. San Jose, California in 1998 as an engineer/project manager. Between 2003 and 2004 he was employed at General Electric (GE) in Bengaluru. In 2005 he joined Infineon Technologies in Singapore,
In his current role, Rohit is part of Infineon’s Asia Pacific regional leadership team and works on strategic assignments for Infineon’s legal entities in the Asia Pacific region, e.g. in India, ASEAN, Korea and Australia. Since April 2017, he is also a board member of Infineon Technologies India Pvt Ltd. Rohit is currently a part of the Asia Europe Young Leader’s Forum organized by the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Germany.
